»ANIMA« is a sculptural installa計林tion developed to explore the rel站跳ationship between itself and its su議購rroundings through the use of m公行ovement, texture, light and sound. T務為he installation consists of a giant 門黃glowing sphere measuring two me男我ters in diameter. This larger-than-如謝life entity is suspended from the ceil都黃ing, as if in mid-air, in a da也子rkened room. The luminescent sc少空ulpture acts as the sole light sourc章熱e for the space, drawing viewers in as下志 it reacts to their presence. Visual不和s of a viscous metallic fluid env放還elop the globe’s surface creating an 遠數intriguing and mysterious ambia機西nce as textures distort and flow 現市around the shape. The reaction of花通 the programmed light formations 民習is a remediation of the surrounding門白s, feasting on its environment to cre做山ate an immersive and interactive ex筆雪perience of light and sound.
Initially a work commissioned for the 她街Amsterdam Dance Event, the install妹木ation has since toured and exhib了錢ited at various galleries and e國師vents in the Netherlands and Berlin su農高ch as LEHRTER SIEBZEHN, TEDxDelft, the雪問 Kantor Art & Technology fest視醫ival and the Van Gogh Museum.
